Privacy Policy

At VeryGood, we are committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our users, especially children and students (“End-Users”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when schools, organizations, parents, or guardians (“Subscribers”) use our Services.

  1. Information We Collect:
    • Subscriber Information (from schools/parents): Name, email, phone, payment details.
    • Student/Child Information: Basic profile, device usage data (screen time, app usage logs, restrictions).
    • Technical Info: Device type, OS, app version, IP (for security and performance).
  2. How We Use the Information:
    • To provide & improve our services
    • To enable monitoring & control by Subscribers
    • To process payments & billing
    • To maintain security and prevent misuse
  3. Parental / Institutional Consent:
    • Minors cannot subscribe directly.
    • Subscribers confirm legal right to consent for the child/student.
  4. Data Sharing & Disclosure:
    • No selling or renting of data.
    • Shared only with payment processors & legal authorities as required.
    • Schools/parents control student data visibility.
  5. Data Security:
    • Data is encrypted in transit & at rest.
    • Strict security measures, but no system is 100% secure.
  6. Data Retention & Deletion:
    • Student data retained only as long as needed.
    • Data deleted within 30 days of cancellation (unless legally required).
    • Subscribers can request deletion at any time.
  7. Subscriber Rights:
    • Access, correct, delete, or withdraw consent for student data.
  8. Cookies & Tracking:
    • Limited cookies/identifiers for analytics & security.
    • No advertising or marketing to children.
  9. Changes: Updates posted in the app/website; continued use means acceptance.

Privacy Policy – Biometric Data (Face Recognition)
  1. Collection of Biometric Data: Only if you enable Face Recognition. You may use the app without it.
  2. Purpose of Use: Only for screen-time restriction and app access verification. No sharing or marketing.
  3. Storage & Security: Biometric data stored securely on your device by default, encrypted at rest and in transit.
  4. Consent: Explicit consent required before collection; you can withdraw anytime to permanently delete data.
  5. Retention & Deletion: Data retained only while you use the feature; deleted on request or withdrawal of consent.
  6. Your Rights: You may access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; file complaints as per law.
Terms & Conditions – Security Features
  1. Use of Security Features: Face Recognition & PIN/Password are optional; use responsibly.
  2. Face Recognition: Optional; requires consent; data stored only on device; can be disabled/deleted anytime.
  3. PIN/Password: Alternative to Face Recognition. You are responsible for confidentiality and reset via recovery.
  4. Security Limitations: Reasonable security applied, but no system is 100% secure; device security is also your responsibility.
  5. Your Responsibilities: Use features responsibly, do not misuse or bypass; disabling reduces app security.

  • We do not sell or share your data.
  • Face Recognition data stays on your device.
  • You can delete your data at any time.

  • PIN / Password (simple numeric or text lock)

Cancellation & Refund Policy
  1. All subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or yearly, as selected).
  2. Users may cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals, but access continues until the end of the current period.
  3. Refunds: 7-day refund window for first payment if substantial usage hasn't occurred; otherwise non-refundable.
  4. Failed or Duplicate Transactions: Payment gateway will auto-reverse; contact support if not credited in 7 days.

Terms of Service (ToS)
  1. Subscriptions may only be purchased by schools, parents, or legal guardians (“Subscribers”).
  2. Subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or yearly); Subscriber is responsible for payment details and timely payments.
  3. Cancellation & Refund Policy is part of these Terms. 7-day refund window only for first payment.
  4. Services help manage student screen time; responsibility remains with school/parent. No unlawful monitoring or surveillance.
  5. Intellectual Property: All content belongs to VeryGood and is protected.
  6. Limitation of Liability: Service provided “as is”; no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service. No liability for indirect damages.
  7. Termination: We may suspend or terminate access for violations or misuse; no refunds in such cases.
  8. Changes to Terms: Updated terms will be posted; continued use = acceptance.
  9. Governing Law: Indian law applies; disputes under courts of Hyderabad / Telangana.
